The Latest News About The Ji Hyun Woo

Actor Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na are currently dating. Ji Hyun Woo and Yoo In Na were seen on a date on the 16th of this month. Photos have been released from an online newspaper revealing their relationship. In the photos, both of them seem to be unable to stop smiling from happiness. It was a typical scene for a couple in love.
However, there were a lot of complications before their love story officially began. The first incident happened 11 days prior.
On June 7, Ji Hyun Woo publicly confessed his love for Yoo In Na at the fan meeting for tvN drama 'Queen In Hyun's Man.' Ji Hyun Woo stated, 'I wanted to confess this in front of the fans that have shown us so much support. I genuinely like Yoo In Na.' It was a confession that nobody was expecting. Yoo In Na was also shocked at his unplanned confession. At that time, Yoo In Na only said, 'I think we will have to talk about this after this event is over.'
In Yoo In Na's perspective, she couldn't just say 'Yes, I like Ji Hyun Woo as well' right then and there and begin their relationship. There are a few reasons to why she couldn't just accept his love at the spot.
First, Yoo In Na has a lot to lose if she dates somebody publicly. As an actress, if she accepts and confirms that she is dating, she is risking the loss of her male fans. This is the reason many actresses refuse to date publicly.
Also, Yoo In Na will receive the title, 'Somebody's girlfriend' wherever she goes. Also, just because she begins dating Ji Hyun Woo, she might be limited when it comes to the roles she will be offered.
For example, Yoo In Na was scheduled to appear on MBC 'We're Getting Married 3'. The concept of the show is that two celebrities become pretend-husband-and wife and experience marriage and honeymoon life together. If Yoo In Na confirms her relationship status with Ji Hyun Woo, it will be hard for her to be a part of the show.
Yoo In Na seems to have fallen for Ji Hyun Woo after seeing all of his characteristics while they worked together. Prior to their scandal, they have been captured behind the scenes looking very friendly with each other. In the drama 'Queen In Hyun's Man', Yoo In Na and Ji Hyun Woo were featured as love birds, which means that they have spent a lot of time together. It is possible that the emotions of the characters have become their actual feelings toward each other.

You Needn’t Keep Your Eyes Open To Enjoy The Bodyguard

the bodyguard
A soundtrack in search of a story, The Bodyguard will entertain you for sure, but you needn’t keep your eyes open to enjoy the show. The movie does a great job of capturing Whitney Houston at her absolute musical peak (a peak it seems she’ll never reach again), but the by-the-numbers damsel-in-distress plot seems an afterthought.

Houston doesn’t have to stretch too far to play Rachel Marron, a bitchy diva surrounded by luxury and sycophants who finds her path to the pinnacle of musical and cinematic stardom blocked by a particularly nasty anonymous stalker who has made an increasingly scary series of threats. Enter Kevin Costner as Frank Farmer, an ex-Secret Service agent haunted by his failure to protect Ronald Reagan from John Hinckley’s bullet. Frank signs on as a security consultant and immediately battens down the hatches, much to the displeasure of the uptight Rachel, who’s used to getting things her way.

"The Bodyguard" kills time with some memorably transparent gambits, like a startling leap from Miami to the snows near Lake Tahoe (where Ralph Waite ambles into the film as Frank's father) and a painfully poor facsimile of Academy Awards night. It also pauses, though only briefly, for a couple of perfunctory love scenes between Rachel and Frank. Unreal as these scenes seem anyhow, they are further undercut by the film's failure even to notice that this is an interracial romance. Strangely enough, "The Bodyguard" comes from Warner Brothers, the studio that just released "Malcolm X."

The sidelines of "The Bodyguard" are enlivened by Mr. Kasdan's occasionally deft zingers (including the perfect rejoinder to a party pickup line), by moments when Mr. Costner's wariness takes on some dramatic edge and by supporting performances geared to a film noir sensibility. Mr. Kemp, a sinister star of "The Krays," and Ms. Richards are particularly strong reminders of what might have been.

To say that Houston and Costner fail to strike sparks would be putting it mildly. The two barely seem to be in the same room — the movie is like a discordant duet between their superstar auras. Houston, the Olympian pop-soul diva, has moments of quickness and humor; she shows more thespian flair than many musicians. Her presence, though, is defined by the same glassy perfection that makes her singing, for all its virtuosity, seem fundamentally anonymous. Whitney Houston is a diamond without flaws: Her cat-faced Mayan beauty is like a mask, and beneath it one never senses a glimmer of vulnerability, pain, doubt. She doesn't seem to need another human being to complete her (that's true on her albums, too-she makes love to her own vocal chords), and in a romantic drama that's fatal. Costner, by contrast, is in his gruff, passive, if-I-just-say-the-lines-as-though-I'm-bored-I'll-look-macho mode. His performance might seem utterly dull were it not for his medieval-monk haircut, which just about martyrs his handsomeness. You can bet this won't be starting any fashion trends.

The Bodyguard is riddled with soap-opera idiocies, from Rachel's madly jealous sister (Michele Lamar Richards) to Frank's big guilt complex (he was off duty the day Reagan was shot and still hasn't forgiven himself) to the hilariously el-cheapo re-creation of the Oscars. Mostly, though, the movie gives us these two self-contained celebrity icons working hard to look as if they want each other. It's like watching two statues attempting to mate. D

The reason The Bodyguard scored more than $410 million worldwide is not Costner and Houston's (inexistent) chemistry. It's about the accompanying soundtrack, which to date stands as the highest selling in movie history and features six songs by Houston, including "Queen of the Night," a remake of Chaka Khan's "I'm Every Woman," "I've Got Nothing," and, of course, her signature cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You." Although her songs make up half of the soundtrack, she is credited for the album's popularity, which in turn drove people to see the film.

Houston's performance is strengthened by the fact that Oscar-nominated Rachel sings all of the soundtrack's key songs on camera, instead of just having the songs play over scenes. Without Houston's powerful voice, the love story is reduced to schmaltzy dialogue, zero heat between the leads, and Farmer's unexplained obsession with swords and knives. Regardless of whether you're a Houston fan, her talent as a singer is what makes the movie halfway watchable. When she's not singing, there's a temptation to fast-forward.

Frame By Frame: Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' Video

Justin Bieber
Justin Bieber drives fast cars, nuzzles with one very lovely young woman and gets his dance on in his record-setting "Boyfriend" video. Fairly simple in its concept, the video is a snapshot of what it would be like to party with the teen star and his hip friends on a rooftop in Los Angeles.

MTV News recently sat down with Director X, and he broke down what it was like to hit the set with the 18-year-old as he readies the next phase of his career, the more mature Believe era. The video is the lead visual off Bieber's June 19 album, and X took us through the clip, frame by frame.

"We start this off with the car stunts," he said of the opening shot. "We wrecked that car by the way; both of those Mustangs were pretty shot after this video, completely shot after this video."

From there, fans are invited to Bieber's car-themed rooftop bash, one that recalls the type of shindig another teen idol from back in the day may have thrown.

"So we got this rooftop here in L.A., starting our day with Justin and he's pulling up. We got all the cool kids hanging out," X said. "Justin's new look, he's kind of got a James Dean thing going on here. That's really Justin driving that Mustang ... and he did all the stunts by himself, completely. That's all him," X joked. "Actually, that's us holding the car. We put the car on these wheels and we pushed it around in circles while Justin pretended to drive."

Justin's "smooth" driving moves are matched only by the real ones he uses on his female co-star, Rachel Barnes. "We got Justin with the girl, pulling [her] around [with the] kids dancing, 'cause you know how kids do. That's what goes on [at these get-togethers]: Someone brings out their guitar and the party happens," he explained.

"The idea really was to show a lifestyle piece — Justin hanging out — to show that he's older ... just to see this new vibe," the director added. "We get to see that he's growing into his manhood. [We] just [wanted] to get in an environment where we can show that naturally, just have fun and get the vibe of who he is."

While Bieber and his lady love in the video captured fans' attention, a co-star who was dubbed "Chunky Bieber" on-set has also gotten some buzz. X explained, "[Chunky Bieber] came with one of the cars and somehow [Bieber's manager], Scooter [Braun], I don't know how in the world they got into conversation where Chunky Bieber started dancing somehow." Apparently it all went down when the director wasn't looking. "They taped 'Chunky Bieber' to his shirt and Chunky Bieber got in the video."

As the video closes out, Justin's dancing skills are on full display. "Got some footage of Justin dancing, [and] those are really his feet," Director X said. "He can do that, and that's it: Justin Bieber, bad boy."

Back in 2001, 'NSYNC enlisted director Marc Klasfeld for their game-changing "Girlfriend" clip that helped launch them ahead in their career from tweeny idols to full-grown men. Now, as Bieber hopes to make the same leap into manhood, he said that despite having tons of respect for Justin Timberlake, he didn't realize there were similarities between his Director X-directed video and the boy band's clip.

After the "MTV First" premiere of "Boyfriend," MTV News' Sway Calloway asked Bieber whether he had seen the "Girlfriend" video: "I haven't seen it," he said. But, he admitted he's "definitely" been influenced by Timberlake. "He was young, and he did it, and he was really amazing and had such amazing music," Bieber shared. "I can't say that I would be upset when someone compares me to him."

But, this Justin notes that while there might be some similarities to that other Justin, he's hoping to put his own stamp on the music industry, adding, "I just feel like my music is going a completely different route, but ... hats go off to him."

As for the more grown-up version of Bieber fans are getting to glimpse in the clip, he shared that much like his Beliebers he's growing up and not afraid to express that. "I think it's super cool," he said. "I wanted to do something a little bit more mature."

Peter Jackson: The Hobbit Won’t Hold Him Back

Peter Jackson
Peter Jackson says the negative reaction this week over new technology he’s using to shoot The Hobbit won’t hold him back, and he hopes moviegoers will give it a try and judge for themselves.

“Nobody is going to stop,” he said. “This technology is going to keep evolving.”

When Warner Bros. showed off 10 minutes of footage this week at CinemaCon, the annual convention for theater owners, many attendees complained that this version of Middle Earth looked more like a movie set than the atmospheric, textured world seen in The Lord of the Rings trilogy.

There was a lot of love for Jackson’s storytelling — the scenes of young Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman, from the British version of The Office) battling a trio of goblins, and Ian McKellen’s Gandalf exploring the tombs of the now-reanimated wringwraiths, received universal praise. Complaints only centered on the technology used to capture and project the footage.

Jackson hopes critics of the format will change their minds when they see the finished film, but notes that it will also be available in traditional formats in many theaters.

“At first it’s unusual because you’ve never seen a movie like this before. It’s literally a new experience, but you know, that doesn’t last the entire experience of the film–not by any stretch, [just] 10 minutes or so,” Jackson tells EW. “That’s a different experience than if you see a fast-cutting montage at a technical presentation.”

So what does he say to people who just decide they don’t like the glossy new look of the format he’s using?
“I can’t say anything,” Jackson acknowledges. “Just like I can’t say anything to someone who doesn’t like fish. You can’t explain why fish tastes great and why they should enjoy it.”

Right now, every second of a motion picture is made up of 24 images, or “frames,” but Jackson is shooting his two Hobbit films at 48 frames per second, which he says creates a more lifelike picture and will make 3-D less of a strain on the eyes.

When it debuts Dec. 14., The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey will be the first major performance for 48-frames, while this week’s showcase was just an audition. Jackson says those who remain unconvinced should wait to see more before closing their minds completely. “There can only ever be a real reaction, a truthful reaction, when people actually have a chance to see a complete narrative on a particular film,” he said.

Some representatives from smaller theater chains, unwilling to speak on the record, grumbled privately about the cost of upgrading their projection equipment (which could be thousands of dollars per screen) to accommodate something they fear could attract a backlash from customers.

Jackson, however, says he noticed one thing in the press: Critics seemed to like it more as the show went on.

“A couple of the more negative commenters from CinemaCon said that in the Gollum and Bilbo scene [which took place later in the presentation] they didn’t mind it and got used to that,” Jackson says. “That was the same 48 frames the rest of the reel was. I just wonder if it they were getting into the dialogue, the characters and the story. That’s what happens in the movie. You settle into it.”

The Hobbit has become the touchstone in a larger conversation happening within the film industry about how to make movies more immersive and appealing.

While Jackson and Avatar‘s James Cameron are advocates, not all directors are sold on the 48 frames format. Ang Lee – who was at CinemaCon to show footage from his upcoming 3-D epic Life of Pi – told EW he hadn’t seen The Hobbit presentation but worries that 48-frames may be too much of a good thing. “I have mixed feelings. I don’t think 48-frames solves everything. Each time you solve a problem you can bring in others — because you make the problem look more clear, maybe, ” he said with a laugh. “It takes time. It sounds like a good idea, but I’m a little skeptical.”

Despite the mixed reaction, Jackson and Warner Bros. did not lose any major support from exhibitors they need to get this format in front of audiences. Large exhibitors remained committed to at least giving 48-frames a try, based on Jackson’s track record as an innovator. Amy Miles, CEO of Regal Entertainment Group, said she hoped to upgrade between 2,500-2,700 of the company’s 3-D projectors to show films at 48 frames per second.

“At end of the day, we have to do everything we can to widen that experience gap between what you see in the theater and what you see in the home,” Miles told EW. “Bringing the option to our customer is what we’re doing. Ultimately, let’s be clear, that’s who decides what’s going to be successful going forward.”

Dan Fellman, president of domestic distribution for Warner Bros., suggested audiences may just need time to get accustomed to the new presentation. “It might not initially be accepted by all, but eventually [Jackson] feels it will be and eventually it can only improve,” he said.

Fellman also pointed out that some of the Hobbit footage was unfinished. In a pre-taped intro, Jackson warned the audience that many visual effects were not yet in place. Fellman said the rawness of the material may have been at least partly responsible for the negative response. “I think by the time he presents this film finished, the majority of moviegoers will accept it and be pleased,” Fellman said.

The studio won’t have to bet its entire box office earnings on the foundation of 48 frames per second.  The Hobbit: The Unexpected Journey will be available in six different ways: 3-D, 2-D, and IMAX 3-D, each one in both the traditional 24-frames style and the new 48-frames version.

Josh Thompson Was Never Supposed To End Up A Country Music Star

Josh Thompson was never supposed to end up a country music star. Rather, there was a time when it looked as if the Wisconsin native was destined for a career in concrete — that is, until the day he decided to jump off the truck and pick up a guitar.

“My whole family was in the concrete industry, from my father to my grandpa to my uncles and cousins — that’s just what we did,” recalls the long-haired, self-proclaimed bachelor who left to pursue his musical dreams in Nashville, Tenn., at the age of 27.

“But then I got a guitar for my 21st birthday and I started picking out songs by ear from the radio,” Thompson says. “After three or four years of stockpiling these songs, the passion really grew and I reached a point when I realized that if I was going to move to Nashville and see if I could establish a career in country music, it was going to be now or never.”

This life-changing decision propelled the Midwesterner to burst onto the country music scene in 2010 with his Top 10 debut album “Way Out Here,” spawning hits such as “Won’t Be Lonely Long,” “Way Out Here” and “Beer On The Table.” Playing more than 250 live shows last year, the RCA Nashville recording artist finds himself on the road again this spring, including a stop at Chicago’s Joe’s Bar on April 13.

“I have always felt that one of the most important things is getting out there in front of the fans face-to-face and gaining them the old fashioned way,” he says.

As he prepares to release his second album, “Change,” this summer, Thompson is busy touting his latest single “Comin’ Around,” which tells the story of just about anyone who gets older and realizes the road behind them is just as important as the road ahead of them.

“Your youth almost forces you to hate your parents’ music and where you grow up and the idea of going to church,” chuckles Thompson, who has also established himself as quite the songwriter, penning hits for country music heavy-hitters such as Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley.

“I think everyone goes through that and reaches a point when you realize those things are part of your life and are the reason why you are the way you are.”

Describing the recording of his second studio album as quite the “painstaking” process, Thompson says he is excited to get 12 new songs in the hands of his fans.

“This album has what I like to call ‘the drivability factor’,” he says. “It’s something you can pop in and drive and listen to the whole thing. It’s not something you are going to want to fast-forward or slow down.”

Describing Joe’s Bar as a “country music island in the middle of an ocean,” Thompson says he always loves coming to Chicago, especially when there is a chance to play some new music.

“The last track on the new record is a duet I recorded with Justin Moore called “Livin’ like Hank,” a rowdy barroom kind of song that is going to go over great live.”

Thompson will return to the area in late June when he plays Bridgeview’s Toyota Park as a featured performer on the 2012 Country Throwdown tour. “I have been a fan of Gary (Allan) since his first song came out,” he says. “That’s just another part of what I love about what I do. Gary is someone I have looked up to forever, and now I get to spend two months out there with him and watch his show every night and hang out afterwards? It’s surreal.”

Joshua Ledet Ran Ahead Of The Competition On "American Idol"

Joshua Ledet ran ahead of the competition on “American Idol” Wednesday.

The booming 20-year-old singer from Westlake, La., had the Fox singing competition’s judges on their feet for his lively rendition of Bruno Mars’ up-tempo tune “Runaway Baby.” After Ledet’s routine, which featured a horn section and go-go dancer, Randy Jackson told him it was “another unbelievable performance” and he’s got everything going for him.

“You can sell a song like a work of art,” beamed Steven Tyler.

Other singers who pleased the panel during the evening of tunes from 2010 to the present included 18-year-old country rocker Skylar Laine of Brandon, Miss., accompanying herself on guitar with Kellie Pickler’s “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You,” and 16-year-old vocalist Jessica Sanchez of San Diego with Jazmine Sullivan’s passionate “Stuttering.”

“Jessica, every time I hear you sing, I forget where I am,” Tyler said.

“Idol” mentor Jimmy Iovine laid down a gauntlet between 20-year-old rocker Colton Dixon, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and 21-year-old pawn shop worker Phillip Phillips of Leesburg, Ga. Dixon delivered an emotional take on Skylar Grey’s version of the Eminem and Rihanna hit “Love the Way You Lie,” while Phillips failed to flourish with Maroon 5’s “Give a Little More.”

“It was just a little bit underwhelming for the Phillip Phillips I love,” said Jennifer Lopez.

After landing in the bottom three last week, 28-year-old teacher Elise Testone, of Charleston, S.C., bounced back by closing the show with Lady Gaga’s “You and I,” and perfection continued to evade demure 18-year-old singer Hollie Cavanagh of McKinney, Texas. The show’s judges weren’t wowed by Cavanagh’s rendition of Pink’s “Perfect.”

“It wasn’t perfect, but it’s a lot better than where you were last week,” said Jackson.

Between the individual performances, the seven finalists paired up for two duets and a trio: Phillips and Testone got together for “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye; Laine and Dixon crooned “Don’t You Wanna Stay” by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson; and Cavanagh, Ledet and Sanchez took on “Stronger” by first-season “Idol” champion Kelly Clarkson.

On Jennifer's much younger boyfriend Casper Smart, Skylar commented, "We've seen Casper." The country music beauty added, "I've never met him, but I've seen him. He wears sunglasses a lot. It's whatever she wants. I'm sure he's a nice guy. She looks taller than him which is kind of funny. Maybe it's her heels."

Jessica Sanchez also gushed on the couple's relationship, simply saying, "They're cute together." Meanwhile, Elise Testone admitted watching Jennifer and her boy-toy on "Dance Again" music video made her feel like she "was invading their personal space."

Still, she added, "But she's so beautiful, and I really do look up to her. I think she was rocking what she's got, and that's all you can do while you're here on Earth. If I looked like J.Lo, I would do that all the time!"

Phillip Phillips, on the other hand, enjoys watching the clip which is filled with steamy scenes as telling E! Online, "The video was mmm-mmm-good!" He added with laugh, "I wasn't complaining."

Marc Anthony filed for divorce from Jennifer Lopez on Monday, April 9, but it's not until Wednesday, April 4 that the news broke out. The couple, who tied the knot on June 5, 2004 in a secret ceremony, has been separated since July 2011.

The Eli Young Band Are Up For Three Honors At the ACM Awards

Count the guys in Rascal Flatts among the fans of “Crazy Girl,” the song that took the Eli Young Band to the top of the country chart and earned the Texas quartet three nominations at the Academy of Country Music Awards, which will be aired Sunday.

The veteran trio has tapped the act for its “American Band” tour later this year and guitarist Joe Don Rooney recently raved of lead singer Mike Eli’s performance on the song: “He sings his butt off.”

But as enamored as they are with the Eli Young Band, the Rascal Flatts members also had some advice for the rising group.

“You’ve got to follow it up,” said bassist Jay DeMarcus. “That’s the hard part. The easy part’s having a hit, but you’ve got to follow it up.”

“Yeah, but then you’ve got to follow that up and you’ve got to follow that up,” Gary LeVox said with a laugh.

It’s a lot of pressure, but it’s a challenge the band — which includes guitarist James Young, bassist Jon Jones and drummer Chris Thompson — seems ready to tackle. After all, they spent a decade of hard work growing from a partnership between two roommates at the University of North Texas into a tight, ambitious outfit that relentlessly toured and grew its fan base one show at a time.

“No matter what comes along — hits or no hits — I think that you can work hard at capitalizing on what you already have built and then try to move forward with it and use your music to get to that point,” Eli said. “Hits will definitely make that happen. They’re not the only way, but they definitely will help. We’ve been very fortunate and very lucky to so far have this career, and I think that it’s turning into something really cool.”

They’ve already experienced some of the cool moments. This week, they wrapped up a trip to Australia, came home for 12 hours and then jumped on a plane to Las Vegas, where the ACMs are going to be held. (The awards will air beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday on WBBM-Channel 2.) “Crazy Girl,” a love song that rolls along like a drive down a two-lane blacktop, is up for song and single of the year, and the band is up for vocal group of the year.

Originally scheduled for a one-off festival appearance in Australia, a promoter suggested them to Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, and they found themselves as the superstars’ opening act.

“This is definitely one of those situations where it’s been a blast to be here,” Eli said in a phone interview from Australia. “I didn’t realize how many fans we could really make here and how well we’d be embraced coming over from the U.S. It’s been really cool.”

They earned their way into these opportunities with a rocking country sound that recalls the mellow smooth of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and the raucous nature of the Texas live music scene where bands are required to bring it every night. They had put out four albums and had a hit, “Always the Love Songs,” about four years ago. But the band’s latest album, “Life at Best,” and the song “Crazy Girl” took off the band to another level; that album was released last year.

Their latest single, “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” cracked the top 20 last week and is one of the fastest rising songs on the Billboard country songs chart. But whether they’ll have another No. 1 remains to be seen. To be honest, they’re not really sure why “Crazy Girl” captured the imagination of so many people. There was the hard work and the support of label Universal Republic. But there’s no explanation for why lightning struck.

“I think anybody that’s in the national spotlight, timing is really everything — timing and the people you have behind you,” Young said. “There’s so many talented musicians and songwriters, it’s just we were lucky. We had kind of a top 10 and disappeared for a few years. We never quit touring or making records, and then with ‘Crazy Girl’ the time was right. It just happened.”

Lady Gaga And Dancing With The Stars Won Outstanding

Lady Gaga and Dancing With The Stars were among the winners at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (Glaad) awards in Los Angeles.

Dancing With The Stars won outstanding reality TV programme for featuring contestant Chaz Bono, the transgender child of singers Cher and Sonny Bono.

Lady Gaga won outstanding music artist for her album Born This Way.

Glaad promotes positive images of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in the media.
The producers of new TV musical drama series Smash picked up the Vito Russo award at the ceremony.

Winners Neil Meron and Craig Zadan are also behind movies including Oscar-winning musical Chicago and Hairspray.

The prize is named after the late gay rights activist and presented to an openly LGBT media professional who has made a significant contribution to promoting equality.

Zadan said being gay was "part of who I am, so it impacts the work that we do".

Meron said he and Zadan had spent years trying to "fight, persuade and manipulate" the entertainment industry to include lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender characters and stories.

Craig Zadan (L) and Neil Meron Zadan and Meron's first big TV success was Gypsy starring Bette Midler in 1994.

They also recounted how they had received death threats following their controversial 2003 mini-series The Reagans, which argued that former US President Ronald Reagan failed to recognise the Aids crisis.

Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein presented openly gay high school pupil Katy Butler with a special award for spearheading a campign to persuade US film censors to lower its rating for documentary Bully.
HBO's Cinema Verite, meanwhile, picked up the best TV movie or mini-series award.

She tweeted: 'People ask me why I wear veils. I reply, I'm mourning. Mourning what? Well I figure something shy must be going on somewhere.'

Last November, Gaga, 25, launched her own charity for youth empowerment, the Born This Way Foundation.

The eccentric star set up the not-for-profit group - partnered with groups including the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University - to help people worldwide develop a new standard of care towards one another.

She said: 'Together we hope to establish a standard of bravery and kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.'

Gaga has fronted many campaigns for charity and ethical issues, previously speaking to gay rights campaigners about the repealing of the don't ask, don't tell policy in the US - which didn't allow openly homosexual officers to serve in the armed forces - before its repealing earlier this year.

The 'You and I' singer is currently preparing for the launch of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour, which starts at the end of next month in Seoul, South Korea.

It starred Tim Robbins, Diane Lane and James Gandolfini and was based on the 1973 PBS American Family documentary that featured the first openly gay person on television.

Best talk show episode went to Oprah Winfrey's programme for the episode Coming Out on the Oprah Show: 25 Years of Unforgettable Guests.

Playwright Tony Kushner won the theatre award for his play, The Intelligent Homosexual's Guide to Capitalism and Socialism with a Key to the Scriptures.

Cha Seung Won On A Successful Career As A Model

Name: 차승원 / Cha Seung Won
Profession: Actor
Birthdate: 1970-Jun-07
Height: 188cm
Weight: 80kg
Star sign: Gemini
Blood type: B

He received an engineering degree from Mokwon University before embarking on a successful career as a model in 1988. This led, in 1997, to a role in the SBS sitcom New York Story.

Although his debut film Holiday in Seoul (1997) and many of his subsequent roles did not establish him as a major star, he attracted attention in 2000 for his performance as an arsonist in the firefighting film Libera Me. The following summer, the runaway success of Kim Sang-jin's comedy Kick the Moon (over 4.3 million tickets sold) secured his place in the industry as a leading actor with strong star appeal. All of his films since then have been box-office successes.

In early 2003,Cha took on a slightly more serious role as a corrupt schoolteacher who is transferred to a country school in the film My Teacher, Mr. Kim. The film grossed over 2.4 million admissions and drew Cha additional praise for his acting abilities. His next role, in Ghost House, reunited him with director Kim Sang-jin in a successful comedy about a man who buys a dream home, only to discover it is haunted by a young female ghost.

In 2005 Cha put aside the comic roles he had become known for and appeared in the grisly period thriller Blood Rain. The film's unexpectedly robust commercial success confirmed Cha's popularity among Korean audiences.

On March 2, 2010, it was announced he would star alongside Jung Woo-sung in the spin-off sequel to 2009's IRIS, titled Athena: Goddess of War.

Jang Geun Suk Reveals New MV

Jang Geun Suk has just revealed a teaser for Team H‘s new album, ‘Lounge H – The First Impression‘.

Team H (comprised of Jang Geun Suk and DJ Big Brother) previously released a Chinese album back in October 2011 entitled ‘The Lounge H‘. Now Team H have got their sights set on Japan, where they’ ll be unleashing their new album in March. In the teaser, Jang Geun Suk and DJ Big Brother face off at a train station decked out with their initials.

They’re ready to wreck some havoc on the night, and we can only imagine what the two will do once they get their party on. As for the name of this track, the video says “Can’t Stop” but music sites are missing that particular title from the album’s tracklist. Looks like we’ll have to wait and see for a finalized title. A short teaser for Team H’s upcoming Japanese album release was uploaded through actor Jang Geunsuk’s official YouTube account.

The teaser features both members in what seems to be a deserted metro station, giving a feel of what the album is going to sound like. The full tracklist of the album was already revealed earlier this month. It features songs from their earlier released Taiwanese mini album “Lounge H Vol.1″, as well as previously unreleased tracks.

“Lounge H The First Impression” is set to be released on March 12th. “JGS always has weird, funny, SPARKLING, mysterious smiles when they’re together(PSH and JGS) including when somebody talks to him about Shin Hye or when she’s mentioned. JGS talks about her a lot..way too much if you ask me!! He’s so fond of her. ShinHye in return acknowledges every single sweetness and tease and does the same to Sukkie.

And the way Sukkie loves to kiss ShinHye(purposely kissing her on kissing scenes even when asked not to..LOL) and stare at her when she’s or she’s not looking(if you’ve seen the stare!! OMG!!), I see something hidden there. I mean it!!..I know you do too. There’s so much going on mutually between them. Their feelings for each other are huge and screaming that you can always notice it when they’re interacting with each other. It sometimes makes it difficult to conclude that they’re just friends.

I believe it has gone beyond the limit of friendship and closeness. The way I see them when they’re together off or even on cam…there is just that SOMETHING! I know Sukkie is sweet and kinda flirty but he does so much of those things “only” when he’s with ShinHye…ain’t that weird? I honestly BELIEVE that they’re a secret couple.

Sukkie is having a hard time hiding it while ShinHye, somewhat silent because she’s worried about antifans, still fails to keep her feelings of happiness when she’s interacting with him or when she’s with him personally …True or Not(100% hoping it’s true!) Jang Geun Suk-Park Shin Hye is my favorite couple”

Jennifer Lopez At Brazil Carnival

Jennifer Lynn Lopez or J Lo is an American actress, singer and fashion designer. This is not all; her profile highlights the expertise of a television producer, song writer, record producer and a fabulous dancer! She was born on July 24, 1969 and according to Forbes, J Lo tops the list of '100 Most Influential Hispanics'. Lopez is credited with grossers on the Billboard Chart, the American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Artist, American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist and two ALMA Awards. Beyond appearing in numerous films, she has won acclaim for her performances in Out of Sight and Angel Eyes.

J Lo has her own fashion line and has successfully endorsed a number of perfumes. The media has had a field day exposing and capitalizing on her high-profile relationships with Ben Affleck, Chris Judd, Ojani Noa and Sean Combs. J Lo is expecting her first child, fathered by Marc Anthony. Lopez was born in New York to Guadalupe Rodríguez and David Lopez. The mariiage between a kindergarten teacher and a computer specialist gave the world the oomph of J Lo! Lopez took to singing and dancing from an early age and financed her lessons, herself.

Lopez worked for a legal firm, attended dance classes and performed at a number of nightclubs in Manhattan. She accepted assignments as a backup dancer for various music videos and appeared in 'Games' by New Kids On The Block. Lopez bagged a high-profile 'Fly Girl' dancer slot on In Living Color, a television comedy. She has also filled in as backup dancer for That's The Way Love Goes, Janet Jackson's 1993 video. J Lo has also appeared on television programs like South Central and Second Chances. She exploded the big screen in My Family, in 1995 and went on to act opposite Welsley Snipes in the action packed Money Train.

Partying like it’s going out of style, Jennifer Lopez was spotted at the Carnival parade in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today.

The “On the Floor” songstress wore a bright red getup including a Brahma Brazilian beer top as she danced around a private VIP box with her boyfriend Casper Smart and manager Benny Medina.

Prior to their arrival at the Carnival site, J. Lo and Casper were seen leaving their luxury hotel and taking pictures of Ipanema beach.

Also in the Carnival crowd was pop star Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson, who hung out in the Devassa VIP area with a bunch of locals while beautiful Brazilian dancers strolled by in their ornate costumes.

Casper Smart continues to be the luckiest man in America. He has sex with Jennifer Lopez, travels the world, and gets paid for busting a nut on a regular basis. Where can I sign up? Casper and maneater Jenny were spotted partying in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil over the weekend, celebrating Carnival.

They do everything together, like photo shoots! Just days ago, Jen posted a professional looking photo of herself and Casper on Twitter, and then quickly deleted it.

Jennifer has a very intense schedule: Working on American Idol, having sex with a 24 year-old, raising 2 year-old twins, pissing off her ex, Marc Anthony. Whorin' ain't easy!

I hope Jennifer had Casper sign a confidentiality agreement. I can just see him selling her out when this fckship explodes within the next few months. Jen is supposed to present at the Oscars this Sunday. I bet Casper will be there walkin' the red carpet, rubbin' her as thinking about what he's gonna buy next.

The 42-year-old singer appeared to be having a great time with her boyfriend Casper Smart as they partied together in the Brahma box at the Rio de Janeiro Carnival in Brazil on Sunday afternoon. The couple, who wore matching red outfits, were photographed dancing and smiling, as the carnival took place. J Lo even tweeted:“My first time here during carnival!”

Lopez and Smart haven’t been shy about their budding romance.  Recently, Casper was seen hitting the beach with his gal’s two children for a family fun day.
The previous day, J Lo tweeted, "Just landed in Rio!!! Hello everyone!! My first time here during carnival!"

Lopez did a Carnival-themed commercial for the beer company, Brahma, who set up and paid for her visit.

The commercial features the 42-year-old pop star effortlessly dancing the fast-paced Samba and has been airing in Brazil for the past few months.

Lil Wayne Drops $30000 At A Strip Club

Recession? What Recession? Sports enthusiast Lil Wayne decided to check out a boxing match at a popular strip club in Miami. The Young Money honcho had a front row seat for a prize fight between two strippers at the gentlemen’s club King of Diamonds.

The ‘She Will’ rapper was cheering on a female pugilist in purple shorts named Kiki who was pummeling her opponent on the ropes. “She’s my little sister,” he says. In the end, Weezy awarded the winner Kiki with $1,000 in singles for her vicious left and right jabs.

According to TMZ, Wayne spent the next three hours making it rain on various exotic dancers. In total, he spent $30,000 in tips while he was at the club. If you do the math, that $10,000 an hour. It must be nice.

We don’t know if Wayne is going to talk about this on his new sports-talk online show, which he launched back in December. It would be interesting to hear what he thinks of professional female boxers.

T.I. Has A Lot To Celebrate This New Year's Eve

T.I. has a lot to celebrate this New Year's Eve. This time last year, the King of the South was locked up, serving an 11-month sentence for a probation violation, but since his September release Tip has been on a tear, dropping a ton of new music and landing a reality show with his wife, Tiny, on VH1.

Tip has some big plans for ringing in the new year, even though he tries to downplay things. "For New Year's I'm gonna be waitin' on F--- da City Up to drop. We got a party poppin' off down here in Atlanta, 200 Peachtree. We gonna turn up and it's basically that," he told MTV News nonchalantly. "Between the party and the mixtape, that's all I got going. New year, new money. That's that."

Tip has been dropping viral teasers for F--- da City Up for about a week; the latest one, which dropped on Tuesday, shows T.I. in the studio with Dr. Dre.

"Dre was here. He sent for me, and of course I answered. We really just turned up more than anything else. It was about creating chemistry," T.I. told MTV News while in Atlanta preparing for the release of the tape.

On New Year's Eve, T.I. and his Grand Hustle fam will host a party in the Grand Atrium at 200 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta from 9 p.m. ET to 3:00 a.m. Sounds like fun.

For those who want to snuggle up on their couch and avoid all the partying madness, MTV has your back. This year Demi Lovato, Mac Miller, Selena Gomez, J. Cole, Jason Derulo and more will be on hand for "NYE in NYC 2012," which will air live at 11 p.m. ET on Saturday (December 31) from Times Square, where the famous ball drops on, you guessed it, MTV.
