FT Island In Taiwan Music Charts

Korean band FT Island proved their great popularity and dominated several music charts in Taiwan with their remake album.

The group's latest album "Memory in FT Island" has topped for the "Best K-Pop Album" category on various music charts including G-MUSIC, FIVE MUSIC, Kuang Nan Record and MTV Music Chart. They also took the second spot of the mobile ringtone site eMOME.

FT Island members stated, "We were extremely ecstatic to hear the 'Memory in FT Island' has come in first place on four different charts in Taiwan. We also want to express our gratitude to our fans in the country for always showing their support and love for us."

Meanwhile, FT Island is currently gearing up for their encore concert which will take place at the Blue Square in Seoul on November 26 and 27.

Lee Hongki Displayed Song Hyekyo

FT Island’s Lee Hongki displayed his affection for actress Song Hyekyo.

On the recently aired programme “Happy Birthday”, Lee Hongki said that, “I feel honoured that Song Hyekyo knows my existence.” He had also shifted to the same salon as Song Hyekyo recently but a pity that he does not have the chance to meet her yet.

“I received a call from Song Hyekyo’s manager recently. He thanked me for saying that Hyekyo was my ideal type and that she knows about my existence,” he smilingly said. MC Lee Kyungkyu responded by saying, “Then what will happen to my daughter?”

According to Lee Kyungkyu, his daughter Yerim is a huge fan of Lee Hongki. Lee Hongki said, “In fact, Lee Kyungkyu has been calling me ‘Lee-Seobang’ and has taken care of me. I’ve also heard that his daughter is pretty.” Lee Kyungkyu continued by saying, “She is just like Song Hyekyo’s style,” and everyone burst into laughter.Singer Tae Jin Ah, Song Daekwan, FT Island’s Lee Hongki, F(x)’s Luna and MBlaq’s Lee Joon were featured on this episode of ”Happy Birthday”.

The Super Show 3 is already over

Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어), often referred to as SJ or SuJu (슈주), is a boy band from South Korea formed by SM Entertainment in 2005. With a total of 13 members, they are one of the largest boy bands in the world. The group consists of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, Kibum, Kyuhyun and Chinese member, Han Geng, was chosen from three thousand applicants via auditions held in China by SM Entertainment in 2001.

The boy band sang their hits including “Sorry Sorry,” “Bonamana,” “Twins,” “U,” “A Man in Love,” “No Other,” “Hate You Love You” and “In My Dream.”As both the band and the fans reeled happily from the concert, Super Junior-M member Henry Lau gave a shout-out to the Filipino fans who watched the show.“Had a blast in the Philippines! You were all AWESOME! Thank you so much! Hope to be back soon!” he tweeted after the concert.

Super Junior made sure that fans were not only able to watch them sing but get up close and personal as well. Members interacted with fans, and leader Leeteuk gave a shirt to a lucky female fan.Fanboy Angelo de Villa, 22, from Taguig said seeing Super Junior for the first time was awesome. “It was a memorable experience to see them enjoy performing onstage while we also enjoyed their performance.”

The Super Show 3 is already over but fans are still talking about the great concert experience. A day after the concert, Super Show 3 in Manila was still a trending topic on Twitter. 4Minute&Their Albums

4minute (Korean: 포미닛) is a South Korean girl group created by Cube Entertainment, subsidiary of JYP Entertainment. The leader of the group is Ji Hyun.

It was announced in May 2009, along with two of the groups members, Kim Hyuna and Nam JiHyun. Although JiHyun is known as the leader, many singing parts and centered dancing roles belong to Hyuna. On June 11, 2009, the silhouette teaser video was released online, along with their official website. The remaining three members identities were kept secret until June 12. On June 15, 2009, their debut single “Hot Issue” was released along with another teaser video and the profiles for each group member. Within hours of the song release, it quickly climbed onto top five within various digital music charts such as Cyworld, Bugs, Soribada, and Mnet.

Hot Issue (Debut Digital Single) – Hot Issue is the debut single of South Korean Girl Group 4minute of Cube Entertainment, Hot Issue producer Shinsadong Tiger composed “Won’t Give” (Track 6), a clean and groovy slow-tempo piece with lyrics by Hwang Sung Jin.

They released their second Korean mini-album HuH (Hit Your Heart), and also their first Japanese single, a remake of Muzik, in May 2010. They released their first original Japanese single, First / Dreams Come True, in October, before releasing their first full length Japanese album, Diamond, in December.

T-ara, Davichi and Yangpa to Have a Concert in San Francisco

K-Pop fans in California are in luck as T-ara, Davichi and Yangpa to are set to perform in San Francisco in January for the K-Pop Power & Beauty concert.

The event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Friday, January 13 at 8:00pm. Tickets will go on sale in two days on November 11 through ticketmaster.

T-ara is a popular South Korean female pop group, with hit songs like TTL, Bo Beep Bo Beep, Crazy Because of You, and Roly Poly etc. The seven members of T-ara are Boram, Qri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and Hwayoung.

Davichi is a Korean pop-ballad duo consisting of Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung. Their music video for Time, Please Stop was the main track of their Innocence mini album. The music video starred Eunjung from girl group T-ara, with a dark and twisted Snow White themed storyline... Davichi show their powerful vocals as usual.

angpa a.k.a. Lee Eun Jin, is a Korean pop/ballad artist. The "Cinderella" of K-ballads is back at long last. Yangpa holds a music degree from Berklee School of Music, presents her fifth major work. Titled The Windows of My Soul, this release is her first original album in six years and marks a leap into a new era, one decade after her debut album Yangpa in 1996. After Yangpa completed her studies in Berklee, her music career fell behind due to health issues, but she seems to have overcome all her tribulations now and is ready for a new start.
Previously in 2010, the Brown Eyed Girls had performed at the same venue in May for the MYX Mash Concert.

Avril Lavigne, Brody Jenner attacked in Los Angeles

Canadian singer Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend are recovering after being attacked outside the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Celebrity news website TMZ.com reported that five people attacked Lavigne and "The Hills" star Brody Jenner outside of the iconic Hollywood hotel.
Lavigne, 27, whose hit singles include "Sk8er Boi" and "Girlfriend," addressed the incident on Twitter.
"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool..." Lavigne posted, adding that she had suffered a black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts.
"So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer," the singer said.
Jenner, 28, the step-brother of the celebrity Kardashian siblings, also posted about the incident on Twitter, saying "Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face."
No arrests have been made, although a spokesman for Los Angeles Police Department told Reuters they were aware of a "skirmish outside in that area on Sunday morning."
Lavigne's representatives were not immediately available for comment.

On an online community board, Seohyun‘s selca was uploaded and Seohyun was seen wearing a snow white blouse, accenting her feminine features with her voluptuous hair.
Seohyun had accented her jawline with big sunglasses. She gives off a rather different image than her usual innocent image as she is looking rather chic while pushing up her sunglasses with her hand.
