This talented group of ”Flower Boy” musicians, consisting of Choi Jong Hun (guitar and keyboard), Lee Hongki (lead vocals), Lee Jae Jin (bass and vocals), Song Seung Hyun (guitar and vocals) and Choi Min Hwan (drums), have proven time and again that they’re not all fluff. Singaporeans have been won over by their startling musical expertise and the wait is over – FT Island will bring their awesome sets to us! Since the band’s inception, FNC‘s boys have set themselves apart by playing their own music, and by that we mean full-responsibility in the form of writing, producing and playing their own instruments. They set a new benchmark for K-pop idols in terms of professionalism and have since paved the way for label-mates, CN Blue.
With their upcoming PLAY concert, FT Island’s energetic and passionate members are said to’ve been heavily involved in its conceptualisation – participating in song selection, stage directing and live performance direction for the entire gig! Expect to see an impressive setup from the boys, who want nothing less than perfection for their fans.
Known for their powerful live performances, these five heartthrobs are sure to enthrall their fans with high-energy, chart-topping tracks such as recent hit Hello Hello, as well as with several self-penned Japanese releases! Their 2009 showcase attracted a sell-out crowd of a few thousand, and their joint concert earlier this year during the Korean Music Wave event, drew a full-house capacity of 8,000 people at the Indoor Stadium.
